Booking Gutter Guard Cleaning in Orange County
Guards come in several designs, and the right approach depends on which one you have. Telling us early saves a return trip.

Identify what is on the roof
Mesh screens, perforated covers, foam inserts and solid hoods behave very differently when it is time to clean. Take a photo of a section close up, and another from the ground, then attach them to the request if the form lets you. If you have the installer paperwork, mention the brand.
When we can see the product in advance, we can decide whether it lifts out, brushes clear or has to be left alone. Some are screwed down and not meant to be removed at all.
What to ask any gutter company
- Do you remove the guards, or clean them in place?
- Will you check the trough beneath the guard?
- Could the method affect any maker or installer conditions on the product?
- Is the price different from an open-gutter visit?
The last conditions question is worth taking seriously. If a manufacturer or installer set rules for maintenance, tell any company you hire, including us, and keep your paperwork handy. A company that cannot answer plainly is telling you something.
A realistic expectation
Guards cut down on large debris, yet fine material still collects. Oak catkins are the pollen-bearing flowers of the live oak, and they show up in late winter and spring (UF/IFAS Extension). Expect to find some of that on and under your guards. A visit that finds nothing at all is rare, and anyone who promises permanent maintenance-free gutters is overselling.
If you want a sense of timing, our gutter guide lays out the local calendar.
