Adding Downspout Flushing to Your Booking
Flushing is sometimes bundled in and sometimes priced separately. The easiest way to avoid a surprise is to raise it up front.

Is it part of the price or an add-on?
Companies differ on this. Downspout flushing is part of the service we offer, and we confirm on the call whether your downspouts are in the scope of the quote. In the request form, note if water has been spilling over the edge, pooling near a wall or trickling slowly from the bottom of a pipe. Those clues tell us to expect a clog below the trough.
With any company, if a quote reads only gutter cleaning, confirm in writing whether the downspouts are covered.
What you should be able to see afterward
- Water runs freely from the top and leaves the bottom at a steady rate.
- The outlet at ground level drains away from the house, not toward it.
- Any underground connection has been described to you plainly, including whether it was tested.
If the pipe connects to an underground drain, tell us you want to know whether the line ahead was checked. A flush that only clears the visible pipe may leave a blockage further along.
Homes with no gutters, or only some
Not every Orange County home has a full gutter system. A third-party explainer points out that many Florida houses do without, thanks to wide overhangs, steep pitches and sandy soil (explainer). Partial systems are common too, perhaps over an entry or a garage door. If your house has only a few runs, say so, because a short job is scoped differently from a full-perimeter visit.
Also mention any rain barrels, diverters or extensions you have added, so we do not remove or reroute them by accident.

Send the short form. A call follows to confirm details, and you decide whether the scope and quote suit you.
